IndiGo has launched daily flights from Chennai to Jaffna, Sri Lanka. This marks Jaffna as IndiGo's second destination in Sri Lanka after Colombo and its 34th globally. The new route reduces travel time to just 75 minutes.
"This short but significant flight is a strategic addition, which is poised to further enhance trade and tourism between India and Sri Lanka. The new daily direct flights from Chennai to Jaffna promise a shorter travel time of just 75 minutes," said Vinay Malhotra, head of Global Sales at IndiGo.

IndiGo operates over 2,000 flights daily, both domestically and internationally. The airline believes that the Chennai-Jaffna route will strengthen commercial and cultural ties between India and Sri Lanka.
