IndiGo has announced a change in its flight operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Starting from April 15, all flights that were previously departing from Terminal 2 will now operate from Terminal 1. This adjustment is due to upcoming maintenance work at Terminal 2.

The airline has advised passengers to verify their terminal information and flight status on the IndiGo website before heading to the airport. This is crucial as there might be alterations to flight schedules during this transition period.
Flight Operations Shift
The relocation aims to ensure smooth operations and minimise disruptions while construction is underway. IndiGo assures passengers that they are making every effort to facilitate a seamless transition and maintain a pleasant travel experience.
To avoid any inconvenience, IndiGo recommends that travellers arrive early at the airport. This will help accommodate any unforeseen changes in the schedule or terminal arrangements.
"In view of a planned maintenance activity, flights previously scheduled from Delhi Terminal 2 have now been reassigned to Terminal 1 starting April 15, 2025. We kindly request you to check the terminal details and your flight status on our website before heading to the airport, as there may be changes to flight schedules as well. Rest assured, we are working diligently to ensure a seamless transition and a smooth travel experience for you. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation," the airline said in a post on X.
This strategic move by IndiGo is expected to streamline operations during the maintenance period at Terminal 2. Passengers are encouraged to stay informed about their flight details through official channels.
By shifting all flights to Terminal 1, IndiGo aims to provide uninterrupted service while ensuring passenger safety and convenience during this maintenance phase.
