Indian Railways has announced eight new weekly trains from different stations in Hyderabad, giving a major boost to rail connectivity. This decision came after Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy raised long-pending demands with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

New Hyderabad Weekly Trains
The new trains will run from Kacheguda, Cherlapally, and Nampally stations, connecting Hyderabad to important destinations in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Odisha, which is expected to benefit a large number of passengers, especially those travelling for religious purposes. Out of the eight new trains, five services are especially for devotees going to Tirupati and Tiruchanur, two major pilgrimage centres.
Moreover, the new services will include long-distance trains connecting Hyderabad to cities, including Shri Ganganagar, Jaipur, and Bhubaneswar. These routes will improve travel options and make journeys more convenient for people.
Train Services to Begin from Next Month
The train services will begin in phases from next month. The first service, a weekly special train between Cherlapally and Bhubaneswar, will start on May 5. After that, several weekly trains to Tiruchanur and Tirupati will be introduced from Cherlapally and Kacheguda during the same month. A weekly train service connecting Hyderabad to Shri Ganganagar is scheduled to begin on July 14. Meanwhile, the South Central Railway will soon announce the starting date for the Nampally to Jaipur weekly special train.
G. Kishan Reddy thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Railway Minister for approving these new services.
