Hyderabad Power Cut Today: Check Affected Areas and Maintenance Timings for September 2, 2026

Hyderabad will see a focused maintenance shutdown today, Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Telangana Southern Discom has scheduled a cut from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm. The work targets the Boduppal 33/11 kV substation’s Indiranagar feeder. Officials said poles are being shifted to towers for HMDA road works along the Chilkanagar corridor. Residents on the stretch should finish essential chores early. The work ties to HMDA’s expansion from Santhamma Gardens to the Ambedkar statue.

Areas named by TGSPDCL officers include Sairam Colony, Srinivasa Colony, and Brindavan Colony. Anandnagar, SC Colony, and Bommak Brothers Colony are in the plan. East and West Hanumannagar will also face disruptions. Expect cuts on Sunny Bakery Main Road and in Saibhavani Nagar. Saidurga Nagar, Bayyanaguda, and Ganesh Nagar are listed. The road from Indian Oil pump to Ambedkar statue is covered.
