Several areas in Hyderabad will face temporary power cuts on Saturday as electricity officials carry out repair and maintenance work, affecting parts of the Azamabad and Hyderabad City-II Division areas.
Hyderabad Power Cut on Saturday
Officials said the power supply will be stopped for a short period in different locations to allow repair work to be completed safely. CBD ADEs G. Nageswar Rao and D. Vinod Kumar appealed to residents to cooperate with the electricity department and bear with the temporary inconvenience. According to the officials, Barkatpura will experience a power interruption from 10.30 am to 11 am. The outage has been scheduled to carry out repairs on the 11 KV electricity feeder.
In Chikkadpally and Anandnagar, the power supply will be interrupted from 11 am to 12.30 pm. Residents and businesses in these areas have been advised to plan their activities accordingly. The Jamai Osmania area will face a temporary power cut from 12 pm to 1.30 pm. Electricity services will be restored after the scheduled repair work is completed.
In Buddhanagar, the interruption is expected to take place from 2 pm to 2.30 pm.
Advisory for Residents
The electricity department has requested people living in the affected areas to make the necessary arrangements in advance. Residents have also been advised to cooperate with officials and avoid inconvenience during the maintenance work. The department said the temporary shutdowns are necessary to carry out repairs safely and maintain the reliability of the electricity network. Consumers are requested to bear with the brief interruptions until the work is completed and normal power supply is restored.
