South Central Railway has introduced several special trains from Hyderabad to handle the heavy travel rush expected during Christmas and New Year. Most of these services will operate from the Charlapalli terminal in the city and will connect Hyderabad with popular destinations like Kakinada, Tirupati, and Pandharpur. These extra trains

aim to give passengers more choices and reduce crowding during the festive season.
Hyderabad-Kakinada Special Train
A special train, numbered 07196, will run from Hyderabad (Charlapalli) to Kakinada from December 24 to 30. It will operate on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The train will leave Charlapalli at 7:30 pm and reach Kakinada the next morning at 9:00 am.
For the return journey, train number 07195 will run from Kakinada to Hyderabad (Charlapalli) between December 28 and 31. This train will run on Sundays and Wednesdays, leaving Kakinada at 7:50 pm and arriving in Charlapalli at 8:30 am the following day.
Hyderabad-Tirupati Special Train
Special weekly services have also been planned between Hyderabad and Tirupati. The Tirupati-Hyderabad (Charlapalli) special train number 07000 will operate from December 16 to 30. It will leave Tirupati every Tuesday at 4:30 pm.
In the reverse direction, the Hyderabad (Charlapalli)-Tirupati special; train number 07031 will run from December 19 to January 2. This service will depart Charlapalli every Friday at 3:35 pm. Along the way, it will pass through important towns such as Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Giddalur, Nandyal, and Kadapa, ensuring better regional connectivity.
Pandharpur-Tirupati Special Train
An additional special train has been introduced between Pandharpur and Tirupati to manage the holiday crowd. Train number 07032 will run every Sunday from December 21 to January 4, leaving Pandharpur at 8:00 pm.
These special trains are expected to make festive travel smoother and more convenient for passengers.
