The Hornbill Festival in Nagaland, known for its rich cultural showcase, has witnessed an impressive turnout this year, with over 1.73 lakh attendees, including 2,375 foreigners, making their way to the Naga heritage village Kisama. This marks an increase from last year's gathering of 1,54,057 visitors. S. Minamae from Edinburgh in Scotland termed her experience at the Hornbill festival as "amazing," highlighting the event's capacity to enchant visitors with its cultural richness.

This year, the festival not only surpassed last year's visitor numbers but also recorded its highest single-day attendance on the eighth day with 26,274 people. The visitor tally includes a significant number of foreigners, domestic tourists, and locals, underscoring the festival's wide appeal. P Mhatre, a repeat visitor, expressed her love for the festival and the youth's efforts in preserving tradition, although she noted some changes in the festival's setup over the years.
