The Ministry of Railways has decided to make the Hisar-Tirupati special train a regular weekly service to benefit many passengers, especially pilgrims. Earlier, this train was running as a temporary special service, but now it will operate permanently as an express train.

Hisar-Tirupati Special Train
The train, which earlier had numbers 04717/04718, will now run with new numbers 14723/14724, the Hisar-Tirupati Express. This change will provide a more reliable and regular travel option for passengers travelling between northern India and the famous Tirupati temple.
This weekly train service will be very useful for devotees going to Tirupati Balaji, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the country. With the train becoming regular, passengers will find it easier to plan their journeys without worrying about limited or uncertain services.
Major Stoppages
The train will pass through several important cities and railway stations along its route. Some of the major stops include Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Bhopal, Nagpur, Ballarshah, Warangal, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, and Renigunta. These stops will also benefit passengers from different regions by providing better connectivity.
For travellers from cities like Nagpur, this train will be especially helpful, as it offers a direct and convenient connection to Tirupati. It will reduce the need for changing trains and make long-distance travel more comfortable.
Moreover, the decision to convert the special train into a regular weekly express service is expected to improve railway connectivity and make travel easier for thousands of passengers. It will also support religious tourism by providing a dependable transport option for pilgrims visiting Tirupati throughout the year.
