Bengaluru, often called the garden city, is enjoying a pleasant change in weather. The city has been receiving heavy rainfall for the past three days and more rain is expected until April 13. This rain has brought down the temperature and added a cool breeze to the mornings and evenings. The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted more showers with thunder and lightning in many parts of the city and other regions of Karnataka.

Rainfall Across the City
On Friday, heavy rainfall was recorded in 27 localities across Bengaluru. Places like Mallasandra, Peenya Industrial Area, and Bellandur were among the areas that experienced strong showers. The rain was caused by a cyclonic circulation over the coastal Bay of Bengal near Tamil Nadu. This weather system has increased the wind speed in the region and is affecting both Bengaluru and many parts of Tamil Nadu, where more rainfall is expected.
Cooler Temperatures Bring Relief
The recent showers have brought cooler temperatures to Bengaluru. Over the next few days, the temperature is expected to stay around 33 degrees Celsius during the day and 21 degrees Celsius at night. This is a welcome change for the people of Bengaluru, who usually face hot and sunny days during this time of year. The rainfall has also created foggy mornings and a fresh feel across the city.
Rain Expected in Other Parts of Karnataka
The weather change is not limited to Bengaluru. Several parts of Karnataka, including the southern interior, northern regions, and coastal districts, are likely to receive rainfall with thunderstorms in the coming days. This change is expected to help cool down these areas as well and bring much-needed water to the land.
A Pleasant Break for the City and Its People
The rain has brought joy to the residents of Bengaluru. With the temperatures dropping and the skies turning cloudy, people are getting a much-needed break from the heat. The cool winds and light fog have added to the pleasant atmosphere. This rain is also good for the environment as it brings moisture to the soil and supports local greenery.
Bengaluru and nearby areas are enjoying a refreshing change in weather with ongoing pre-monsoon showers. As rain continues in the coming days, it is a good time for people to enjoy the cooler climate and the peaceful beauty that comes with it.
