Hudo Raas: A Spectacular World Record Dance

On March 20, 75,000 Bharwad sisters, dressed in red traditional attire, gathered at Thakardham to perform the Hudo Raas, a dance dedicated to their faith. The women danced in harmony around the idol of Thakar Krishna and a grand cow statue, creating a divine atmosphere that resembled Gokul. Their jewelry sparkled in the sunlight, adding to the mesmerizing beauty of the event.

This grand performance was awarded a certificate by World Record India, recognizing it as the largest Hudo Raas at a single location. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel presented the certificate to Mahant Rambapu of Thakardham, marking a proud moment for the Bharwad community.

Honoring Tradition and Faith

The festival was not just about dance; it was a spiritual and cultural celebration. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the gathering virtually, appreciating the community's dedication to preserving their traditions. He also praised the massive turnout, showing the community's strong bond and devotion.

PM Modi posted some amazing images on his X handle and wrote:

"With the help of technology, I was able to interact with a large crowd present at Thakardham Bavaliyali today. This place is a center of faith for the Bharwad community.

I congratulate all the members of the community for organizing the Tata Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav and the Shrimad Bhagavad Gyan Gop Gatha program.
