Goa has been facing heavy rainfall in 2024, causing many problems and incidents. The Ponda City Main nullah, also known as Kapilesharim Nullah, overflowed because of heavy rains. Consua-Cortalim Tree Uprooting
In Consua-Cortalim, nearly 80 trees were uprooted because of heavy rains and gusty winds. The entire village faced a situation similar to a cyclonic storm in just 10 minutes. The falling trees caused power outages and disruptions in the area.

In Kundaim, three construction workers lost their lives when a retaining wall collapsed during heavy rainfall. Several areas faced flooding, rivers swelled, and landslides blocked roads, making the situation very difficult.
