Akasa Air has announced its Pay Day sale, providing customers with up to a 20% discount on flight fares. The offer is available until July 1st and can be used for 'Saver' and 'Flexi' ticket prices by applying the promo code 'PAYDAY' when booking through the airline's official website, mobile app, or a travel agent. According to the airline statement, travellers can enjoy up to a 20% discount on fares across all 22 domestic destinations using the promo code between June 28 and July 1, 2024.
The discounted fares are valid for flights from July 5, 2024, until September 30, 2024. However, there is a blackout period from August 15th to August 19th and September 4th to September 7th during which the offer will not be applicable. The sale is exclusively for "adult" and "child" passenger categories and does not apply to special fare categories such as armed forces, medical professionals, students, and senior citizens.
Additionally, the offer cannot be applied to other charges like meal charges, excess baggage charges, airport/other charges, and government taxes. It is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers or used for group bookings.
In other news, Akasa Air plans to expand its international operations by introducing direct flights from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi starting July 11, 2024. This will be the airline's fourth international destination since it began operations in August 2022. Akasa Air is a low-cost airline that is part of SNV Aviation Pvt Ltd and is headquartered in Mumbai. It was founded by Vinay Dube and Aditya Ghosh with an investment from Rakesh Jhunjhunwala who holds a 46% stake in the company.
