A world of excitement is coming to Delhi, right next to the airport. Universal Studios is all set to open its first indoor theme park in India. The Universal Studios theme park will be part of a new mall covering 3 million square feet, being developed by Bharti Realty in Aerocity. Out of this, about 300,000 square feet will be used for the theme park. This means nearly 10% of the total space will be dedicated to exciting rides, attractions, and entertainment based on popular Universal movies.
Economic and Tourism Boost
Aerocity is already growing fast, with around 6.5 million square feet of buildings completed out of a planned 17 million square feet. The new mall and theme park are expected to bring in over ₹5,000 crore in rental income each year. More importantly, it will create thousands of jobs in areas such as operations, retail, hospitality, logistics, and entertainment.
The Universal Studios park will help Delhi-NCR become a key spot for both Indian and international tourists.
