Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Express Starts Today: Check Ticket Fares and Timings

This Diwali and Chhath Puja, Indian Railways is all set to launch the longest Vande Bharat Express route between Patna and Delhi. Covering 994 kilometers in just 11 hours and 35 minutes, this express service brings a faster, more comfortable way for many people to travel home for the holidays. Known for its speed and comfort, the Vande Bharat Express will directly connect Bihar's capital with Delhi, saving significant travel time for thousands of festive season passengers.

Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Starts

The train will depart Delhi at 8:25 AM, reaching Patna by 8:00 PM. On the return route, it will leave Patna at 7:30 AM and arrive in Delhi at 7:00 PM. The service will run three times a week in both directions, on October 30 and November 1, 3, and 6 for Delhi-Patna and November 2, 4, and 7 from Patna to Delhi. The well-timed schedule helps ensure that travelers will reach their destination in time for the festive celebrations, making it an ideal option for families and friends to reunite.

Stops and Stations

The Vande Bharat Express will stop at key stations along the way, including Arrah, Buxar, DDU, Prayagraj, and Kanpur. This journey will cut travel time compared to other trains on this route, like the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express and New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Tejas Rajdhani.

For seating, the Vande Bharat offers two types of chair car seating: AC chair car, priced at ₹2,575, and executive chair car at ₹4,655. While the train does not offer sleeper options, its comfortable seating, modern amenities, and quick travel time make it an excellent choice for daytime travelers.

Travel Made Easy for Festive Season

The introduction of the Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Delhi comes just in time for the bustling travel season, giving people a smoother way to journey home. By reducing the trip to around 11 hours, it eases the strain of long travel and accommodates the large Bihari community in Delhi returning to their hometowns.

This new express service not only showcases Indian Railways' dedication to improving rail connections but also offers a modern, stress-free travel option for holiday travelers. With its timely and efficient service, the Patna-Delhi Vande Bharat Express is set to make festive travel more enjoyable, strengthening the bond between two major cities and supporting the needs of thousands during one of India's busiest travel times.
