The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has made a big step forward in improving transportation with the opening of a new section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. While the sections connecting Delhi and Mumbai are already in use, the direct route between Kota and Delhi is expected to open within two months, further enhancing the expressway's utility.
According to the media report, An NHAI official explained the challenges of constructing such a massive project. "Construction of the transport corridor was completed on most stretches. However, until the interchanges are constructed, these sections cannot be opened for traffic," the official said. This highlights the complexity of building infrastructure that involves multiple phases and careful coordination to ensure smooth operations.
