Electricity will be unavailable from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Residents in the impacted zones are encouraged to prepare for this temporary disruption.

In Besant Nagar, the affected areas include Malaviya Avenue from 1st to 4th Street, Sivakamipuram, Gangai Amman Koil Street, LIC Colony, Subramaniyam Colony, and M.G. Road. The shutdown is part of scheduled street feeder and structure maintenance activities.

Power Cut Scheduled for July 15
Another power cut is planned for July 15 in various locations such as Kamakodi Nagar, IIT Colony, SS Camp Road, Selaiyur, Velachery Main Road, Bharathy Park Street, Karnam Street & Extension, Raja Iyer Street, Madha Koil Street, and Nelluramman Koil Street.
The power cut will also impact Palaiyathan Street, New Balaji Nagar, Avvainagar, MSK Nagar Kannan Nagar, IOB Colony, Muthalamman Koil Street, Eswaran Koi, Medavakkam, Gowrivakkam, Mampakkam Main Road, Babu Nagar and Palm Garden.
Residents Advised to Prepare
Residents in Gayathri Nagar,Royal Garden , Krishnaveni Nagar, Thirumudivakkam,Vetrivel Nagar,Bharathwaj Nagar and PTC Qtrs are advised to plan accordingly. Areas like Sarawathi Nagar,Bhagyam Gopala Krishna Nagar and Senthil Nagar will also be affected.
The outage will extend to Naduveerapattu & Poothandalam Panchayat,Ettiyapuram,RRT & Dharshan Garden,Ashok Nadavanam,Gayathri Mega Nagar,and Pink house. Residents should take necessary precautions during this period.
If maintenance work concludes ahead of schedule on either day,power may be restored earlier than anticipated. Residents are encouraged to stay informed about any updates regarding the restoration of electricity services.
