Chennai, June 30: Several parts of Chennai will experience a scheduled power shutdown on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, as the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation (TNPDCL) undertakes routine maintenance work. According to the official schedule, electricity supply will remain suspended from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in multiple localities across the city.
Residents living in the affected areas are advised to plan their day accordingly, as power will be restored only after the maintenance work is completed. The shutdown will impact parts of Guindy, Pallavaram, Anna Nagar and Enjambakkam, along with several adjoining neighbourhoods.

- Power supply will remain suspended in Rajbhavan Colony, Kannigapuram (1st to 34th Streets), Velachery Main Road, Race View Colony (1st to 3rd Streets), Bharathi Nagar, Five Furlong Road, Race Course Road, Vandikaran Road, Nehru Nagar, Periyar Nagar, TNHB Colony, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Indira Gandhi Nagar (1st to 6th Streets), Ganesh Nagar, Ranganathan Street, Madhiyalagan Street, Kannagi Street, Madhavan Street, Anbil Dharmalingam Street, parts of Velachery, Anna Salai, Chinnamalai, Mosque Colony, Link Road, Narasingapuram and surrounding localities.
Pallavaram
- The scheduled outage will affect Nagelkeni, Chrompet, Sangam Road, Thiruneermalai Main Road, Ranganathasamy 1st and 2nd Streets, Padasalai, Venkatraman Street, Pillayar Koil Street, Angalamman Koil Street, Velapper Street and Nallathurai Palli Street.
Anna Nagar
- Residents in A to W Blocks of Anna Nagar, VOC Nagar, Shenoy Nagar, Aminjikarai, R.V. Nagar, T.P. Chatram, Kilpauk Garden Road, Periyakoodal AA Block to AM Block and the Thiruveethiamman Koil area will also be affected during the maintenance period.
Enjambakkam
- A lengthy list of localities under the Enjambakkam section will witness the scheduled shutdown, including Vettuvankeni, Akkarai Village, Allikulam, Ambedkar Street, Anna Enclave, Betheal Nagar, Bharathi Avenue, Brindavan Nagar, Cholamandal Artists Village, Copper Beach Road, Dr. Nanjundaro Salai, ECR Enjambakkam, Enjambakkam Kuppam, Gangaiamman Kovil Street, Gunal Garden, Hanuman Colony, Harichandra 1st to 4th Streets, Kakkan Street, Kalaignar Karunanidhi Salai, Karpaga Vinayagar Nagar, Kasturibai Nagar, L.G.
