Chennai Power Cut Update: Several parts of Chennai will witness a scheduled power shutdown on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, as maintenance works are set to be carried out by the electricity department. Residents in affected localities are advised to plan their day in advance and ensure essential devices are charged ahead of the outage.
According to the announced schedule, electricity supply will remain suspended from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, although supply may be restored earlier if maintenance work is completed before the scheduled time.
