Residents across several parts of Chennai may experience temporary disruption in electricity supply today as scheduled maintenance work is being carried out by the power department.
According to the announced maintenance schedule, power supply in identified localities will remain suspended on Saturday, June 6, 2026, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Authorities noted that electricity may be restored earlier if maintenance activities are completed ahead of schedule.
If you have work-from-home plans, online classes, business operations, or appliance usage scheduled during the day, checking the affected areas in advance could help avoid inconvenience.
