With this announcement, the number of permanent inter-state express trains originating from the Tiruchi Railway Division will increase further. Other major trains from the division include the Tiruchi-Howrah Express, Tiruchi-Jodhpur Express, Tiruchi-Shri Gangapur Humsafar Express, and the daily Tiruchi-Thiruvananthapuram Intercity Express.
