BEML Limited, a major public sector manufacturer, has received an additional order worth ₹414 crore from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). This order is for supplying more trainsets for Phase II of the Bangalore Metro Rail Project. It adds to BEML's ongoing metro supply contracts and further strengthens its

role in India's fast-growing urban transport sector.
The company shared this update with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited, as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. BEML stated that this order is part of regular business activities, showing its steady involvement in metro and infrastructure projects across the country.

Urmi Chaudhury, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of BEML, confirmed that the order was issued by the corporate office in Bangalore. She said the contract highlights BEML's commitment to offering reliable and high-quality metro solutions. It also supports the government's efforts to expand eco-friendly and efficient public transport options in Indian cities.
With this new order, BEML continues to grow its presence in the urban mobility space. The additional trainsets will help improve the Bangalore Metro's efficiency and increase its capacity to serve more passengers.
