Indian Railways has announced special train services on April 15, 18, and 21 to help manage the large number of candidates travelling for exams conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). These exams are for the post of Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) and will be held at multiple

centres across the state.
Bihar Special Trains
According to R.K. Singh, the Public Relations Officer of the Samastipur division, these special trains will run on important routes such as Muzaffarpur-Patliputra Junction, Darbhanga-Hajipur-Patliputra Junction, Samastipur-Hajipur-Patliputra Junction, and Bettiah-Hajipur-Patliputra Junction. All these routes come under the Samastipur division of East Central Railway, which is managing the arrangements.
Why are these Special Trains Important?
The exams are scheduled on April 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, and 21, with two exam sessions every day. Since a large number of candidates are expected to travel to different exam centres, the railways are preparing for a heavy rush during these dates, as the main aim is to make travel easier and more convenient for candidates, so they can reach their exam centres on time without facing overcrowding or delays. Officials have assured that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure safe and smooth travel for passengers during this busy period.
Advisory for Exam Candidates
Candidates are advised to check train timings and schedules in advance and plan their journeys properly, as it will help them avoid last-minute confusion and ensure a comfortable trip to their examination centres.
