Residents across several areas of Bhopal are expected to face scheduled power disruptions on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, as electricity department maintenance work and NHAI-related tree-cutting operations are planned across the city.
According to the announced shutdown schedule, electricity supply will remain suspended for varying durations in multiple localities. Maintenance activities include tree-cutting work, DTR replacement and line maintenance work, affecting both residential and commercial areas.
Eight-Hour Power Cut: Areas Affected From 8 AM To 4 PM
Power supply will remain affected from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the following areas due to NHAI tree-cutting work:
- D-Mart, Maholi, Kakra Abhinav Homes, Rani Marriage Hall, Sagar Heights
- K-Sector, Sagar Estate, Sagar College, Sharda Kunj, Abhinav Kirti
- ML Highrise, Eco Green Park
- Sage Golden Spring, Sagar Landmark, Tulsi Marriage Garden, Kolua Village
- Green Valley, Kolua Village, Sagar Landmark, Radhakrishna Puram, Khejra Baramad, PMAY Multi, Bhanpur Khanti
- Tirupati Abhinav Homes, Girnar Valley
- Radhaswami Satsang and Khejra Village

Two-Hour Shutdown: Line Maintenance Work
Electricity supply will remain suspended from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the following areas because of line maintenance work:

Power supply is also expected to remain interrupted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM in selected areas for DTR replacement work:
