Bhopal residents are advised to prepare for a scheduled power outage on Monday, August 1, 2025, due to ongoing RDSS implementation and essential maintenance work by the electricity department.
The outage is expected to impact several areas, including Idgah Hills and Sehore Naka, among others. Citizens are encouraged to plan their day in advance to avoid inconvenience.
Power Outage Update
Due to ongoing RDSS initiatives, there will be a scheduled power outage in the Airport area and surrounding regions from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Residents are advised to make necessary preparations in advance.
Additionally, areas including PGBT Road, Gautam Nagar, Firdosh Nagar, Shital Nagar, PGBT College Road, and Sant Kaver Ram Colony will experience a power cut from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM as part of the same RDSS-related work.
Scheduled Maintenance Alert
As part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades, a planned power shutdown for conductor stringing has been scheduled, affecting several areas.
Club House sector will face a power outage from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During the same hours, electricity will also be disrupted in Elexer Garden Colony, Sigma Green Colony, Badwai Village, New Koh-e-Fiza, and Inox Colony.
Additionally, Maple Tree residents should prepare for power interruptions between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM due to related maintenance work.
Additional Areas Affected by Power Outage
Due to ongoing conductor stringing work, Pragati Nagar, Ashoka Garden, Shahanshah Garden, and Amrit Colony will experience a scheduled power outage from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
