Several parts of Bhopal are experiencing scheduled power cuts today, April 23, 2026 (Thursday), due to maintenance work being carried out by the electricity department.
According to officials, power supply will remain disrupted for 5 to 6 hours across more than 40 areas. The outages began between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM and will continue until 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, depending on the locality.
Residents are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions.
Reason for Power Cut
The shutdown has been scheduled for routine line maintenance and system upgrades, aimed at ensuring smoother and more reliable power supply in the future.
