Residents in several parts of Bhopal are likely to face scheduled power cuts on May 29, 2026, due to metro construction work and DTR replacement activities being carried out by the electricity department.
According to the announced shutdown schedule, electricity supply will remain temporarily disrupted in multiple villages, colonies, and residential areas at different times during the day. Areas including Khejda Village, Badwai Village, Chunabhatti, Shahpura C-Sector, Chanakyapuri Colony, Palasi, and nearby localities are expected to witness interruptions.
Authorities have advised residents to complete essential work in advance and keep electronic devices charged before the scheduled shutdown begins.
