Residents in several parts of Bhopal are likely to face scheduled power cuts on Saturday, May 16, 2026, due to maintenance and upgrade work being carried out by the electricity department. According to the latest power supply schedule, electricity will remain disrupted for two to four hours in multiple localities across the city.
Officials stated that the temporary outages are part of routine maintenance activities aimed at improving power infrastructure and ensuring smoother electricity supply in the coming weeks.
People living in affected areas have been advised to complete essential household and office-related work in advance to avoid inconvenience during the shutdown period.
