Residents in several parts of Bhopal should prepare for scheduled electricity disruptions on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, as maintenance work by the power distribution department is set to affect supply across more than 45 localities. Authorities have advised citizens to complete essential work in advance as outages in different zones may continue anywhere between two and five hours.
The maintenance exercise is being carried out to strengthen and streamline power infrastructure across the city. As a result, multiple residential pockets will witness temporary shutdowns during the day.
Why Is There A Power Cut In Bhopal?
According to the scheduled maintenance plan, electricity supply will remain suspended in phases across selected areas to facilitate repair and upkeep work.
Officials have appealed to residents to:

- Complete water storage and household chores early
