Residents in Bhopal should prepare for scheduled power interruptions on Friday, April 24, 2026, as the electricity department has announced maintenance work across multiple parts of the city. The outages are expected to impact over 70 areas, with power cuts lasting between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location.

According to officials, the maintenance work will begin between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM in most areas and continue until approximately 4:00 PM. The disruption is part of routine line maintenance and DTR (distribution transformer) work, aimed at improving electricity supply reliability.
