Power supply will be disrupted across multiple parts of Bhopal on Sunday, April 19, 2026, due to scheduled maintenance and infrastructure work by the electricity department. The outages will impact over 80 areas across the city, with shutdown durations ranging between 4 to 7 hours depending on the location and nature of work.
According to officials, maintenance activities will begin as early as 7:00 AM in select areas, while most regions will experience power cuts starting from 10:00 AM onwards, extending up to 5:00 PM in some locations. The works include line maintenance, pole installation, conductor stringing, and line shifting under infrastructure projects, which are essential for improving long-term power reliability.
