The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced scheduled power outages in various parts of Bengaluru. These outages are due to maintenance and infrastructure upgrades. Residents should prepare for power cuts from June 21 to June 22. Some areas will also experience disruptions on Sunday, as stated by BESCOM.
On Friday, numerous localities, including Mahaganapathi Nagar, Pushpanjali Apartments, and Shivanahalli Park, will face power cuts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other affected areas include the Toyota Showroom, Esteem Classic Apartment, Lumos Apartment, IAS Colony, and KAS Colony.
Power Cuts Scheduled for June 21
Residents in Indiranagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Kamala Nagar, Gruhalakshmi Layout, and surrounding areas will experience power outages from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional locations affected include JC Nagar, Kurabarahalli, Rajaji Nagar, ESI Hospital, Bovi Palya, Mahalakshmi Layout, Manjunath Nagar, and Unix Kirloskar Colony.
Furthermore, areas such as Karnataka Layout, Kamala Nagar, VJSS Layout, Nagapura, Mahalakshmipuram, Modi Hospital Road, and others will also be without electricity during this period. The list extends to Gurappanapalya and BTM 1st Stage, among others.
Saturday's Power Outage Details
Bengaluru residents in HMT Main Road and RNS Apartment will face power cuts on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other impacted areas include State Fisheries, Linganahalli, Madappanahalli, and CMTI. Peenya Police Station and Reliance Communication are also on the list.
Additional locations like Tharabanahalli and Hurulichikkanahalli will experience disruptions too. This includes Muneshwara Temple Road and Guni Agrahara among others. Residents near Vignan Public School should also expect outages.
June 22 Power Disruptions
On June 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., KSIT College area residents will face power interruptions along with those in Vaddarapalya and Weavers Colony. Areas like Begur Koppa Road and Devarachikkana Halli are included too.
The outage list continues with Puravankara Apartment and Amruth Nagar among others. Vishwapriya Layout residents should prepare for disruptions as well as those in Kembathalli.
Sunday's Scheduled Outages
BESCOM has planned a power cut on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., affecting NJR Layout and Chikkathoguru among other places. Electronic City Phase-1 is included along with Bommanahalli and Hongasandra.
Doddathoguru residents should anticipate outages alongside Konappana Agrahara locals. Surrounding localities are also expected to be impacted by these scheduled works.
Extended Power Cuts Across Three Days
Certain Bengaluru areas will endure power cuts across all three days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to BESCOM's announcement. Affected regions include Samandur and Yadavanahalli, among others.
This extended outage list features Itchangur and Attibele Town too along with Mayasandra residents facing similar disruptions. Industrial areas like Attibele Industrial Area are not exempt either.
BESCOM advises consumers to plan their activities accordingly due to these scheduled maintenance works impacting the electricity supply across multiple districts in Karnataka.
