The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Bengaluru and nearby areas will experience windy and rainy weather from today until April 7.
Bengaluru Rain Alert
Although Bengaluru will have a moderate climate despite the rain, the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 33 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature may drop to about 22 degrees Celsius. Several districts, including Bengaluru City, Bengaluru Rural, Tumkur, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Chamarajanagar, and Ramanagara, are expected to experience rainfall along with strong winds during this period.
Rain Alert in Coastal Karnataka
Moreover, heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely in coastal districts such as Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, and Udupi. Northern interior districts, including Bagalkot, Kalaburgi, Vijayapura, Belgaum, Dharwad, and Haveri, are also expected to receive significant rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms. As these weather conditions may lead to temporary disruptions, residents are advised to stay alert, check weather updates, and plan their activities accordingly.
Weather Condition in Raichur
On the other hand, Raichur will experience hotter weather conditions. The maximum temperature there is predicted to rise to 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be around 27 degrees Celsius. This shows that Raichur will remain warmer than Bengaluru even during this period of changing weather conditions.
