The current weather reports indicate mixed conditions across Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka. On one hand, temperatures are gradually increasing as summer begins, while on the other, some areas may experience rain and thunderstorms.

Bengaluru Rain Alert
According to the report, several districts, including Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, and Chamarajanagar, are likely to receive light to moderate rain along with strong winds and thunder. Coastal and north interior regions such as Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Bagalkot, Kalaburagi, and Belagavi may also experience gusty winds and lightning.
Weather Conditions in Bengaluru
In Bengaluru, the temperature is expected to be moderate compared to other regions, with maximum temperatures around 32-33°C and minimum temperatures near 22°C. However, northern districts like Yadgir may experience much higher temperatures, reaching up to 37°C.
Increase in Karnataka's Temperatures
Additionally, temperatures across Karnataka are steadily rising during the summer season. Many areas are witnessing hotter days, and this trend is expected to continue in April. The India Meteorological Department has also warned that temperatures may remain above normal in several parts of the state during this period.
Unpredictable Weather Changes
Even though heat levels are rising, occasional pre-monsoon showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring temporary relief in some regions. However, these changes are common during the transition into peak summer. While some regions face high temperatures, others may benefit from short spells of rain, making the weather slightly unpredictable during this time.
