Bengaluru residents are advised to prepare for scheduled power outages across more than 30 neighborhoods on July 21 and 22, 2025.
According to the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), the interruptions are essential to facilitate crucial maintenance work by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) at a nearby power station, impacting several localities.

Power Cut Schedule
The scheduled power outages will occur from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on both July 21 and 22. According to BESCOM officials, the disruption is necessary to carry out urgent maintenance at the 66/11kV Sahakarnagar substation. Residents are advised to plan ahead to minimize any inconvenience.

The power cuts will affect several neighborhoods, including A Block, E Block, G Block, F Block, Ballari Main Road, Amruthahalli, BGS Layout, Navya Nagar Block, Talacauvery Layout, Shabari Nagar, and GKVK Layout. Additionally, areas like Jakkur Plantation and Yashada Nagar in Amruthahalli will also experience power disruptions.
