Residents in select areas of Bengaluru Rural and Harihar taluks should prepare for short-term power cuts over the coming days. The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced that these outages are necessary to carry out crucial maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.

On 13 August, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., power will be suspended in locations served by the K-12 and F-14 feeders in the Kudur section. The shutdown will facilitate the installation of a new line between Kuduri and Solur, aimed at improving services at the Gudemaranahalli Power Supply Centre.
Scheduled Power Outages in Bengaluru Rural
Power cuts are expected in several areas, including Biskur, Kodihalli, Surappanahalli, Kannisandra, Malligunte, Aaladakatte, Arishina Kunte, Kelavohalli, Kallipalya, Madigondanahalli, Venkata Dhruvagalya, Bhairanur, Vajarahalli, Kenchayyana Palya, Anchepalya, Arepalya, Maddur, Hoojegalli, Parasandra, Maniganahalli, Cheelur, Byrapur, Hosa Palya, and nearby localities.
Power Cuts in Harihar Taluk
In Harihar taluk, scheduled outages will take place on 12 and 14 August from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in parts of the Bhanuvalli electricity distribution zone under the Belludi branch. BESCOM stated that the shutdown is necessary for critical maintenance work and the integration of a new power line.
Areas expected to be affected include Bhanuvalli, Lakkashettihalli, Kamalapur, Holesirigere, Ramatirtha, Nagenahalli, and nearby villages. Residents are advised to make the necessary arrangements to manage these temporary power cuts.
