Bengaluru-Kanpur Special Train by Indian Railways to Handle Passenger Traffic During Summer Season

Indian Railways has announced a special train service between SMVT Bengaluru and Kanpur to manage the increased passenger traffic during the summer season. This train will run via Prayagraj, providing better connectivity for travellers along this route.

Bengaluru-Kanpur Special Train

Train number 04131 will operate from Kanpur Central to SMVT Bengaluru. It will depart from Kanpur Central Railway Station every Sunday at 4:30 pm, starting from April 5 until July 12. The train will reach SMVT Bengaluru at 6:30 pm on Tuesdays, taking over 2 days to complete the journey. For the return journey, train number 04132 will run from SMVT Bengaluru to Kanpur Central. It will leave SMVT Bengaluru every Wednesday at 7:10 am, starting from April 8 until July 15. The train is scheduled to arrive at Kanpur Central at 3:45 am on Fridays.

This special service has been introduced to reduce overcrowding and provide more travel options for passengers during the busy summer period, when many people travel for holidays, work, or family visits.
