The revised schedule, approved by the Railway Board, indicates a departure delay of 2 hours and 25 minutes for the outbound journey and 40 minutes for the return journey. The Bengaluru-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express, Train No. 20642, will now depart from Coimbatore at 7:25 AM, rather than the previous 5:00 AM, while the return journey will commence from Bengaluru Cantonment at 2:20 PM, compared to the previous 1:40 PM.
Fare Details:
As of January 2024, the fare for the Bengaluru-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express Chair Car is Rs 1,400, and for the Executive Car, it is Rs 2,355. These prices provide passengers with a comfortable and efficient travel option.
Updated Timings:
Previously, the Bengaluru-Coimbatore train departed at 5:00 AM and arrived at 11:30 AM. With the revised timings, the departure is at 7:25 AM, reaching its destination by 1:50 PM. The Coimbatore-Bengaluru train, which originally started at 1:40 PM and concluded at 8:00 PM, now operates from 2:20 PM to 8:45 PM.
Route and Stoppages:
The Coimbatore-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express follows a route with stoppages at Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri, and Hosur. Similarly, the train traveling from Bengaluru Cantonment to Coimbatore will have these same stoppages, catering to the convenience of passengers along the way.
