The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) started eight new feeder bus services on Monday to make travel easier for passengers using the Bengaluru Namma Metro Yellow Line. These buses are designed to improve first- and last-mile connectivity, making it easier for commuters to reach metro stations from nearby residential and commercial

areas.
New Feeder Buses to Connect Metro Stations
The new feeder services will connect three important metro stations, Hosa Road Metro Station, Singasandra Metro Station, and Kudlu Gate Metro Station, with surrounding neighbourhoods.
List of Two Different Routes with Similar Ending Points
One of the services will run on a ring route starting and ending at Hosa Road Metro Station. This bus will pass through several areas, including Central Prison, National Public School, Haralur, Haralur Cross, Agara, Parangipalya, Somasundarapalya, Kudlu Gate, and Singasandra before returning to the metro station. The first bus on this route will leave at 6:00 am, while the last service will depart at 9:40 pm.
Another ring route will also start and end at Hosa Road Metro Station, but will travel in the opposite direction. This bus will pass through Singasandra, Kudlu Gate, Somasundarapalya, Parangipalya, Agara, Bellandur Gate/Haralur Cross, Haralur, National Public School, and Central Prison before completing the loop. The first bus on this route departs at 6:15 am, and the last service departs at 9:20 pm.
Introduction of a Feeder Service
BMTC has also introduced a feeder service between Hosa Road Metro Station and Carmelaram bus stop. This route will pass through Central Prison, Doddamara, Chikkanayakanahalli, and Doddakanneli. The first bus from both Hosa Road Metro Station and Carmelaram will start at 6:00 am, while the last bus from both ends will run at 9:00 pm.
These feeder buses are expected to help metro passengers travel more easily between the metro stations and nearby areas.
