Amit Shah Announces Public Access to ‘Sheesh Mahal’ Amidst Delhi Election Campaign

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that the 'Sheesh Mahal,' built under former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, will soon be open to the public. He made this statement during an election rally in the Jangpura assembly constituency. Shah criticized Kejriwal for building the luxurious 'Sheesh Mahal,' which cost Rs 51,000 crore, despite his earlier claims of leading a simple life.

Sheesh Mahal Open for Public

Shah used this opportunity to question the actions of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders while in power. He also targeted Manish Sisodia, the AAP candidate from Jangpura, accusing him of leaving the Patparganj constituency and misleading voters. Shah further criticized Sisodia's decision to allow liquor stores near religious places and schools. He called Sisodia the only education minister in the country to be jailed for a liquor scam.

The BJP leader also referred to Kejriwal and Sisodia as "Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan," suggesting that they had misled the people of Delhi. His speech set a strong tone for the upcoming elections, highlighting the political rivalry between the parties. With the last day of campaigning completed, both sides are making final efforts to gain public support before voting begins.

Delhi is preparing for its Assembly elections, scheduled for Wednesday, February 5. The results will be announced on February 8. The elections are expected to be closely watched, as they will determine the future leadership of the national capital.

Amit Shah's promise to open the 'Sheesh Mahal' to the public adds a new angle to the election discussions. His speech in Jangpura highlights the fierce political competition in Delhi. As voters get ready to cast their ballots, the intense battle between the BJP and AAP continues, making this election a key moment in the city's political history.
