Air India, India's national airline, has announced a new non-stop flight between Kolkata and Bangkok. The service has been introduced to maximise connectivity between the two popular destinations, providing a boost to trade and tourism.

Flight Schedule and Configuration
The new Air India flight AI322 is slated to depart from Kolkata at 2200 hrs, reaching Bangkok at 0205 hrs the following day. The return flight AI321 will leave Bangkok at 0305 hrs and land in Kolkata at 0410 hrs, according to local time. Operating six days a week from Monday to Saturday, the flight will use a narrow-body Airbus family aircraft. In terms of seating arrangement, the aircraft has two-class configuration of Economy and Business Class.

Boosting Hospitality and Business
The new direct service to Bangkok will offer unique opportunities to Air India passengers. Besides fostering tourism and trade between the two cities, it enables passengers to conveniently connect to 10 popular destinations in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. This is off the back of an interline partnership with Bangkok Airways, thereby ensuring seamless connections beyond Bangkok.
Currently Operational Routes to Bangkok
Presently, Air India operates a total of 14 flights to Bangkok each week. This includes daily non-stop flights from India's capital city, Delhi, and the bustling metropolis of Mumbai. Ultimately, this reinforces Bangkok as a key destination in Air India's international network.
With this addition, Air India aims to provide unprecedented connectivity, fulfilling the dual purpose of strengthening bilateral ties and giving impetus to personal and business travel. As it expands its wings, Air India continues to establish itself as a major player capable of providing a rich and diverse travel experience.
