Jamia Masjid - Bangalore

Jamia Masjid is one of the landmarks of K.R.Market in Bengaluru (Bangalore). The exquisite marble architecture of Jamia Masjid draws a lot of attention in the locality. Its impressive design and five-storey structure was planned and constructed by Rayyaz Asifuddin in 1940. Jamia Masjid is dedicated to the "Tiger of Mysore", Tipu Sultan and several frescoes relating to him can be found inside the shrine. ' Tipu Urs' (death anniversary) of Tipu Sultan is observed every year when thousands of people congregate in this mosque. Jamia Masjid is one of the most beautiful mosques in Karnataka.

Mahmud Gawan Madrasa - Bidar

Once Mahmud Gawan Madrasa was a Muslim university which is now converted into a place of worship. Mahmud Gawan was an intelligent prime minister in Bahamani Empire who built this residential university in Bidar during the 15th century. Mahmud Gawan Madrasa is one of the enchanting monuments in Bidar. Now, it is under ASI and needs a lot of preservation work.

Jama Masjid in Gulbarga is one of the enticing remnants of Bahmani Dynasty. This beguiling architecture doesn't have any minarets but has a big dome. Jama Masjid is located inside Gulbarga Fort and has a touch of Spanish architecture as it was built by Spanish Architect. The interiors of Jama Masjid Gulbarga resembles the Spanish Mosque in Hyderabad. Today it is one of the historical religious structures in Karnataka.

Jamia Masjid - Bijapur

Jamia Masjid of Bijapur was built by Ali Adil Shah I to commemorate his victory over Vijayanagar Kings. Today, it is one of the largest mosques in South India. Jamia Masjid, also known as Jumma Masjid is one of the architectural wonders as it has one of the beautiful domes. No doubt, it is one of the beautiful mosques in Karnataka.
