Tigra Dam, Gwalior

Tigra Dam is situated in the suburbs of Gwalior city. It is almost 23 km away from the city. It is a good place for recreation. It is a place to take children to experience the construction and uses of a dam. It is a calm and quiet place, away from the din and bustle of the city. The Tigra Dam creates a fresh water reservoir for the city of Gwalior and some other parts of Madhya Pradesh. This is a favourite picnic spot of the locals.
