Ramanadurga Hill Station, Bellary

Ramanadurga is a small hill station and a village near Sandur. It is known for ancient fort built by the Prince of Kampli (a local kindgom). There is also a Ramadeva Temple which has been restored. However, the fort is in ruins. Ramanadurga Hill Station provides an breathtaking view of Sandur and the surrounding villages. Sandur or Sanduru is one of the famous towns in Bellary and it is known for manganese deposits. Ramanadurga or Ramgad is around 16km from Sandur.
