Hidkal Dam, Belgaum

Hidkal Dam is situated at Hukkeri in Belgaum district of Karnataka. It is constructed across the Ghataprabha River. The dam is an archaeologically relevant site. Many fossils have been revealed in the nearby areas of the dam which makes it a place of interest not only for tourists but also archaeologists.
