Habbanhatti is a small village on the banks of the river Malaprabha which is about 31 km from Belgaum on the Jamboti Road. The village has a temple of Swaymbhu Maruti at banks of the river. Basically a centre for pilgrimage, the area also offers a picturesque landscape of the temple on the banks of the free flowing river. Shri Poonamnath Maharaj math is also situated next to the temple. The place also offers a good picnic spot with an open space encircled with trees.
