History of Taj Mahotsav
Taj Mahotsav began in 1992 and this 2016 is the 25th edition of the festival.
The main idea was to give a big platform to different artisans of the country. Since then the event has also drawn many Indian as well as foreign tourists.

Taj Mahotsav takes places in Shilpgram near the Eastern Gate of Taj Mahal, Agra. The event is one of the main aspects of Uttar Pradesh tourism.
