The major attractions in Shikharji include its temples and natural surroundings. Even though it is a trek from the base of Parasnath Hill to the top, where lies the most significant site in Jainism, the route is comfortable and hence, the peak is easily accessible.
The major temples here include Jal Mandir, Kunthunath Mandir, Gautam Swami Temple, Mallinath Temple, Naminath Temple and several other temples scattered all over the Parasnath Hill. However, most of the temples at Shikharji are newly constructed, you can also find several 18th-century temples. Apart from visiting temples, you can also enjoy its surreal surroundings with the blue backdrop of the sky which in turn enhances the existing beauty of the place.

By Rail: Parasnath railway station is well connected to nearby major cities and towns.
By Road: Parasnath is easily accessible by road from other cities and towns. However, there are no direct buses available to Parasnath.
