Nagar Ghadi

Nagar Ghadi

Do clock towers even need to be recognised on the list of places to be visited in a city? Well, we think the Nagar Ghadi or clock tower of Raipur definitely is worth mentioning. Located at the heart of the city, the clock goes unnoticed for its simple beauty and is rather looked at as a landmark point. Made of marble the tower is surrounded by garden and fountains. But the most unique feature is that this clock tower sings! Yes, you read that right. The clock tower plays folk Chattisgarh music before every hourly bell. And what's better is that the tune matches the mood of the time.
