Lonavala – A Popular Tourist Spot in Maharashtra

Lonavala is a town and hill station of Sahyadri mountain ranges. Situated in Pune, this enchanting hill is a popular tourist spot. Its picturesque landscapes and thick green cover lure tourists during all seasons. It is 2,041 ft above the sea level and has a moderate temperature.

Travelling is not difficult as it near to Pune and Mumbai. There are many public transport services which provide easy access to this place.

People who visit Lonavala can go to number of places around: Rajmachi Point, Lonavala Lake, Tiger's Leap, Lohagad Fort, Bhushi Dam etc. Hence, it is also a popular weekend getaway.
