1. Hampi Festival, Karnataka

2. Wangala Festival, Meghalaya
Wangala Festival is a well known North-Eastern festival celebrated in Garo Hills by Garo Vamsasajar tribe of Meghalaya. Wangala celebration is similar to the other harvesting festivals celebrated in other parts of India. Since, it is celebrated in much pomp with drums, trumpets and traditional dances, Wangala festival is also called the 100 Drum Festival.

3. Rann Utsav, Gujarat
Rann Utsav is a month-long celebration that includes singing, music and traditional dances. It is a major desert festival held in Kutch, Gujarat. There is plenty of local food to indulge in and craft stalls to try new things. Another prime attraction of the place is the campsite in the middle of the desert. Visiting this place on full moon day is an exceptional experience.

6. Pushkar Camel Fair, Rajasthan
Pushkar Mela is a major festival that attracts people from all over the world and is one of the main attractions in Rajasthan in November. The Pushkar Mela is celebrated for eight days near Kartika Purnima. In reality, the Pushkar Mela is a celebration of camels. There are about thirty thousand camels traded in the fair. Parade of camels, a show of camels, a camel race, and many more fun activities are held here.

The birthday of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, is celebrated as Guru Nanak Jayanti. It is this time of the year that the holy book is brought out of the temple and showcased to fellow Sikhs and tourists.

8. Sonepur Mela, Bihar
Sonepur Fair is a famous festival celebrated in Sonepur, Bihar. This festival is held on the full moon day of November. Sonepur Mela is a tribute to 'holy cows' and this cattle fair is celebrated on the banks of the River Ganga. This Mela is being commemorated since 300 BC and is also the largest cattle fair in Asia.
